Rewari: A junior hockey coach has been arrested in Haryana’s Rewari district on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl, police officials said. The accused was taken into custody following a complaint filed by the victim’s family. According to authorities, the incident came to light after the minor reported the matter to her parents, who subsequently approached the police. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Police stated that the accused is being questioned, and further investigation is underway. Rewari: A tragic incident was reported from Rampura area of Rewari on Karwa Chauth night, where a 45-year-old man allegedly set his wife on fire before setting himself ablaze, police officials said on Sunday. The incident occurred around 11:00 PM on Thursday. Both the man and his wife sustained critical burn injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Their 16-year-old daughter, who tried to intervene and save her mother, also suffered burn injuries during the incident.
